Description
This is Bearsville Bees insulated Long Langstroth hive. (Long Lang for short) It holds 34 frames (not included) plus one follower board.
There are seven entrance reducer dials for the bees to enter the hive. Start the hive at one end and keep adding frames in front of the follower board. Six more dial entrance reducers are on the “attic” to adjust air flow for summer / winter.
A handle resides on front of lid for easy opening with a chain on each side to anchor the lid when open. On top of the frame area are 6 inch inner covers for easy bee access.
One of the inner covers is drilled to fit the included feeder with an extra plain inner cover. The Long Lang is coated with ESP ( Environmentally Safe Protectant) which is the first step, then it is coated with Boiled Linseed Oil. It is recommended that this oil be re-applied each year.

Shipping this product is done by freight based upon location and weight of order. If you can have it delivered to a business with a fork lift and have permission it will be more economical than delivering to a residence. It can be delivered to a terminal and you can pick up there. Once order is made a shipping payment link will be sent.
